Career & Technical Education (CTE) Professional Learning Community

Next Cohort Launches: October 2026 ๐Ÿš€

An 8-week PLC for CTE pathway educators who need to build standards-aligned curriculum they can actually execute with students. No fluff- just practical, collaborative work that produces real materials you'll use this week, this month, and next year.

Why This PLC Exists

CTE programs are often built by individual teachers based on industry experience. That creates strong real-world learning, but uneven curriculum structure. Schools need documentation that's intentional, aligned to standards and credentials, and audit-ready, without stripping away what makes CTE hands-on.

This PLC gives you dedicated time to do the curriculum work you never have time for.

CTE Program Overview

A practical structure designed for busy CTE educators

  • 3 Live Sessions: 60-90 minutes each, focused on producing shared curriculum artifacts. All sessions recorded.

  • Asynchronous Work: Between-session refinement and classroom testing on the CoLab platform

  • 1:1 Coaching: 20-minute personalized session to address your specific pathway needs

Timeline: 2x per month over 3 months

Three Focus Areas

  • ๐ŸŽฏ

    Standards Alignement
Translate credentials and industry standards into usable curriculum components. Ensure requirements are clearly embedded in every unitโ€”not buried in a binder.

  • ๐Ÿ—๏ธ

    Curriculum Development
Build common units, performance tasks, and assessments. Clarify expectations for projects, labs, and applied learning so students know what quality looks like.

  • ๐Ÿ“‚

    Documentation & Refinement
Create scope and sequence maps that support walkthroughs, audits, and reporting. Review student work to refine curriculum decisions and identify where differentiation belongs.
